IVCLA Mixers & Receptions are the perfect opportunity for potential members to learn first hand how to become a Citizen Diplomat and for members to share Home Hospitality experiences, meet Board members, International Visitors and of course, to introduce friends and family to IVCLA! We look forward to seeing you at the next Mixer.

Thank you to all the Board Members and Citizen Diplomats who joined us for our January 2013 Book Talk with author Nicholas Kralev of "Americas Other Army: The U.S. Foreign Service and 21st Century Diplomacy". We were pleased to partner on this event with the Los Angeles World Affairs Council Young Professionals and the HubLA.

Our Mixer with Women Who Inspire Us was held at the Omni Hotel Los Angeles. At the event we welcomed women entreprenuers from Albania, Bahrain, China, Croatia, Dominican Republic, Eritrea, Haiti, Laos, Lebanon, Mexico, Pakistan, Peru, Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Tajikistan, Tanzania, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates and Vietnam.
